Read this before engaging. These boundaries are written into every Asset Grouper engagement agreement.
Asset Grouper Corp is a Texas S-Corporation providing operating-support services. Asset Grouper is not a law firm, accounting firm, CPA firm, or registered investment adviser, and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or investment-advisory services. “Portfolio Management” as used by Asset Grouper refers to a portfolio of operating engagements and is not an investment-management service.
What we don't do.
- We do not sign tax returns or render tax opinions.
- We do not provide legal advice or practice law.
- We do not manage securities or act as investment advisers.
- We do not take equity, officer titles, or fiduciary positions in client entities.
- We do not sit on client boards unless specifically scoped and separately documented.
- We do not act as trustees or named officers.
Governing jurisdiction.
Every Asset Grouper engagement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Venue for any dispute is Travis County, Texas. Asset Grouper Corp is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
Licensed work we refer out.
Your CPA, tax attorney, and investment advisor remain yours. Our Finance Ops pillar handles operational workflow around their work. When you need a licensed professional you don't have, we'll tell you and — where we know one — refer you.
